With the carboard cut out of the engine I set out to make a copy of the engine. So I put the carboard onto a piece of ply wood and stencil round it. Then i measured the length of the engine. Put in planks of wood to make up the size and screw it all together. I followed the same priciples when I was make a copy of the gearbox for sizing up later on.
So I decided to see how she would fit in the engine bay and it does not look good.
